Our vessel, the Nashira, is a 38 foot tri-cabin Californian motor yacht. It has an aft stateroom with two double beds and its own head (bathroom). Forward is another small stateroom with two single bunks and another head. Between the two staterooms is the main saloon with a settee and galley. The settee (dinette) may also be made into a bed. The Nashira is most comfortable with 2-4 guests plus crew. The vessel is powered by two Perkins marine diesels. It has proven to be very seaworthy and comfortable. The exterior of the boat includes a walk-around deck, a mid-deck and a flying bridge. We can carry a dingy and two kayaks for exploring and going to shore. Jim Muhar, our captain, is U.S.C.G. licensed and has been exploring Prince William Sound for twenty years. His jobs is to see that you have a safe trip and a very good time GENERAL INFORMATION RESERVATIONS/PRICES/WHAT TO BRING What We Provide: All meals, fishing gear, soft drinks, beer and wine are provided to guests on the Nashira. Guests may experience sport fishing for halibut, salmon and other bounties of the sea. (Guests who would like to fish need to obtain an Alaska Fishing License.) Shrimping and clamming may also provide guests with the true Alaskan experiences not available to most visitors. Bird Watching: Prince William Sound is home to great varieties of birds, mammals and creatures of the intertidal waters. There are numerous species of birds native to the Sound, and we regularly see Arctic Terns, Puffins, Black Oystercatchers, Kittiwakes, and Bald Eagles. There are simply too many bird species to name here, but be assured that if you are truly into birds, this is a trip you will love. Cruising
